Telling the bed &amp; breakfast farm system that facilitate \u2018green &amp; local tourism\u2019 on the Paris-Saclay Campus might give an enthusiastic answer to this question.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The farm-residency can welcome around 10 families, but during holidays it provides also meals for people using the empty student<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">\u2019s lodging<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">. Apart from activities such as ramble on the wide plateau, and hike ride through Saclay\u2019s vast natural &amp; agricultural spaces, many activities are possible for the children, as they can share bicycle paths &amp; playgrounds with Saclay inhabitants, but also be initiated to the farm activities and a greener way of life. Most clients are actually workers of the campus, as it\u2019s a way for them to share with their families a place they spend a lot of time on, and to see it from another point of view, over the prices advantages they can benefit. This farm is also a solution for Parisians willing to spend some time in the countryside at a lower price.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">During the week and work times, as students take back their rooms, the farm is used to welcome the numerous guests who make short stays on the campus when they come to make a lecture or a debate in a school or a company.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Th<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">is highlight<\/span> of the strong attachment to nature and its resources proved by people on the Saclay plateau doesn\u2019t prevent the campus to be in parallel the theatre for a totally different type of tourism.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em><strong>La ferme de mon bureau<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/43455080?color=ffffff\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"650\" height=\"355\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>Que se passerait-il si nous pouvions profiter de notre lieu de travail comme un lieu de vacances ? Faire part du syst\u00e8me de ferme-chambre d\u2019h\u00f4te qui facilite le tourisme local et \u201cvert\u201d sur le campus de Paris-Saclay pourrait donner une r\u00e9ponse enthousiaste \u00e0 cette question.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>La ferme-r\u00e9sidence peut accueillir environ dix familles, mais pendant les vacances elle fourni \u00e9galement des repas pour les personnes faisant usage des chambres d\u2019\u00e9tudiants vides. Au-del\u00e0 d\u2019activit\u00e9s telles que des randonn\u00e9es sur ce grand plateau, et des circuits \u00e0 v\u00e9lo \u00e0 travers les vastes espaces naturels et agricoles, il y a beaucoup <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>d\u2019activit\u00e9s<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em> possibles pour les enfants, puisqu\u2019ils peuvent partager les pistes v\u00e9lo et les aires de jeux avec les habitants de Saclay, mais aussi \u00eatre initi\u00e9s aux activit\u00e9s de la ferme et \u00e0 un mode de vie plus \u00e9cologique. La <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>plupart<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em> des clients sont en fait des personnes travaillant sur le campus, dans la mesure o\u00f9 c\u2019est un moyen pour eux de partager un lieu sur lequel ils passent beaucoup de temps avec leurs familles, et de le voir d\u2019un autre point de vue, au-del\u00e0 des prix avantageux dont ils peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier. Cette ferme est \u00e9galement une solution pour les Parisiens qui voudraient passer du temps \u00e0 la campagne \u00e0 un prix raisonnable.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>Pendant la semaine et les p\u00e9riodes hors cong\u00e9s scolaires, alors que les \u00e9tudiants reviennent occuper leurs chambres, la ferme est utilis\u00e9e pour accueillir les nombreux invit\u00e9s venant sur le campus pour un bref s\u00e9jour lor<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>squ\u2019il<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>s interviennent dans l\u2019un des d\u00e9bats ou conf\u00e9rences qui ont lieux dans les \u00e9coles et les entreprises.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>Cette<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em> mise en valeur du fort attachement \u00e0 la nature et \u00e0 ses ressources dont on fait preuve sur le plateau de Saclay n\u2019emp\u00eache pas le campus d\u2019\u00eatre en parall\u00e8le le th\u00e9atre d\u2019un tout autre type de tourisme.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What if we could enjoy our work place as a holiday place\u00a0?
