Some of them have spent over 50 years of their life living in Orsay, Palaiseau, Massy, or Gif-sur-Yvette, and have attended the great challenges and transformations the area had to face, with the Great Paris Project. In regard of the amazing development of the scientific and technological area, old people isolation had become a tricky problem.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">\u2028In 2015, a<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">n o<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">ld people community based in La Troche district, Palaiseau, have decided to promote cross-generational relations through a simple \u2013 though efficient \u2013 idea : to get young fellow students, from foreign countries or France, to be \u201ctemporary grandsons\u201d in the old people\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">houses<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">. Through a couch surfing-like on-line platform, students can choose a host (over 100 hosts already joined FFG cheering service), offering either supper, afternoon-tea, bed and breakfast, dog walking, hand-knitting training, cooking lessons, woodwork training\u2026 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #262626;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">In addition, the FFG cheering service have open small daily cafeterias in Palaiseau and Orsay, at the heart of the cluster-campus, providing a home-made meal to all FFG cafeteria student members. FFG staff would serve about 80 packed lunch per day. Home-made lunch like your mum used to make, so to keep concentrate on your studies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em><strong>Mes grands parents fran\u00e7ais \u2013 GPF service sympa<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/43453299?color=ffffff\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"650\" height=\"355\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>Une population importante de personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es se trouve en situation d\u2019isolement dans le vaste territoire du plateau de Saclay. Parmi ces personnes, certains vivent depuis plus d\u2019une cinquantaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es sur le territoire, dans les villes d\u2019Orsay, Palaiseau, Massy, ou Gif-sur-Yvette, et on assist\u00e9 aux grandes transformations li\u00e9es au projet du Grand Paris. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>En 2015, une association de seniors bas\u00e9e dans le quartier de La Troche \u00e0 Palaiseau, a imagin\u00e9 de promouvoir le lien inter-g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel avec une id\u00e9e simple et efficace : inviter les \u00e9tudiants fran\u00e7ais ou \u00e9trangers scolaris\u00e9s sur le territoire \u00e0 devenir \u00abpetit fils ou petite fille d\u2019un jour<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>\u00bb chez les<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em> personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une plateforme inspir\u00e9e de celle du service \u00abcouchsurfing\u00bb, les \u00e9tudiants choisissent un h\u00f4te proposant un diner, un th\u00e9, un couchage pour la nuit, une balade avec le chien, une s\u00e9ance d\u2019apprentissage du tricot, une le\u00e7on de cuisine, de menuiserie, etc. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>En parall\u00e8le, le GPF service sympa a ouvert de petites caf\u00e9t\u00e9rias en plein <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em>c\u0153ur<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><em> du campus universitaires. Ces caf\u00e9t\u00e9rias d\u2019un genre nouveau offrent quotidiennement 80 paniers-repas aux membres inscrits.
