{"id":86,"date":"2012-04-16T13:44:01","date_gmt":"2012-04-16T13:44:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sustainable-everyday-project.net\/ensciparisdesislab\/?p=86"},"modified":"2013-05-16T12:46:21","modified_gmt":"2013-05-16T12:46:21","slug":"epps-labs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sustainable-everyday-project.net\/ensciparisdesislab\/?p=86","title":{"rendered":"DEVELOPMENT AGENCY Labs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/43452519?color=ffffff\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"650\" height=\"355\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>From the launch of Paris Saclay Cluster Campus, majors issues were clearly to kick-off the social dimensions of the project and generate a high quality of life between the mix of populations \u00a0living there.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Th<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">e Pa<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ris Saclay Development Agency in charge of coordination of urban planning for the whole Campus decided to challenge its own work and innovation processes to better meet the social side of the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The willingness to pass from consultation to co-creation made them generate the fi<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">rst DEVELOPMENT AGENCYla<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">bs: these ne<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">w\u00a0su<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">b-structures worked as temporary project groups bringing together generally 3 to 5 different stakeholders to coproduce an experimentation. For instance the first Learning Center around\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>Politecniq<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>ue <\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">me<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">tro station trigger appetite for more of such experimental third places: \u2018La Villette-Saclay\u2019 was the first initiated by the Sciences and Industry Museu<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">m, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>N<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>anoInnov<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0and Ile-de-France Region Direction of Education. Another started in partnership with Minatech\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>Arts &amp; Science Atelier<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, CEA and Cartier Foundation. Each of these <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">DEVELOPMENT AGENCYla<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">bs real scale experimentations were scheduled for 6 months after which an assessment of the results is made by the partners and the experimentation is stopped or transformed into a real project.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Other third places were generated around logging: Accord Hotel, Booking.com\u00a0and Gites de France explored the concept of diffused hotels rooms at people\u2019s h<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ome; St<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">eelcase Strafor, the Hub and Caf\u00e9s Costes implement \u00a0the very French\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>\u2018Bistr\u2019offices\u2019<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">With <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">DEVELOPMENT AGENCYla<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">bs, the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Development Agency tur<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ned planning upside down putting the social architecture first and channeling then the appropiate infrastructure.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times, serif; font-size: x-small; color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>DEVELOPMENT AGENCYlabs<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/43452517?color=ffffff\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"650\" height=\"355\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Depuis le lancement du Cluster Campus de Paris Saclay, le probl\u00e8me majeur \u00e9tait clairement de d\u00e9velopper les dimensions sociales du projet, et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une bonne qualit\u00e9 de vie pour le m\u00e9lange de<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">s po<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">pulations vivant l\u00e0.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">L\u2019Agence de D\u00e9veloppement Pa<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ris Saclay responsable de la coordination de la planification urbaine de tout le Campus, d\u00e9cida pour sa part de d\u00e9dier son travail et ses innovations \u00e0 une meilleure approche de l\u2019aspect social du projet.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Le d\u00e9sir d\u2019\u00e9voluer de la consultation \u00e0 la co-cr\u00e9ation eut pour effet de donner naissance aux premiers <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">DEVELOPMENT AGENCYlabs<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0: ces nouvelles sous-structures fonctionnaient comme des groupes de projet temporaires regroupant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 3 \u00e0 5 partenaires co-produisant une exp\u00e9rience. Par exemple, le premier Centre d\u2019Apprentissage autour la station de m\u00e9tro <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>Polytechnique <\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">eut pour cons\u00e9quence un d\u00e9sir de cr\u00e9er d\u2019autr<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">es tie<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">rs lieux exp\u00e9rimentaux : \u00ab\u00a0La Villette-Saclay\u00a0\u00bb fut le premier d\u2019entre eux, \u00e0 l\u2019initiative du Mus\u00e9e des Sciences et de l\u2019Industrie, de Nano Innov et de la Direction de l\u2019Education de la R\u00e9gion de l\u2019Ile de France. Un autre d\u00e9marra en partenariat a<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">vec l&#8217;Atelier Arts &amp; Sciences de Minatech, le CE<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">A et la Fondation Cartier.
