L\u2019objectif du projet est de r\u00e9ceptionner des marchandises via des modes lourds (voie fluviale, route, fer), de les traiter (alloter, d\u00e9salotter) pour ensuite les livrer en centre ville. Le projet vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une \u00ab logistique inverse \u00bb consistant \u00e0 reprendre des d\u00e9chets.<\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique du CMDU cherche \u00e0 combiner 3 dimensions : proposer une nouvelle offre de services (logistique inverse par exemple), r\u00e9duire les externalit\u00e9s n\u00e9gatives, d\u00e9velopper la performance des services existants.<\/p>\n<p>Les externalit\u00e9s positives \u00e0 identifer sont les impacts en termes de r\u00e9duction du nombre de trajets li\u00e9s au transport de marchandises, notamment la r\u00e9duction de la pr\u00e9sence de gros v\u00e9hicules en ville (embouteillages, d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de la chauss\u00e9e), la possible r\u00e9duction de l\u2019accidentologie, la r\u00e9duction des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et l\u2019impact sur la sant\u00e9. Une fois les externalit\u00e9s identifi\u00e9es, il faut r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 les \u00e9valuer, puis trouver des acteurs pr\u00eats \u00e0 prendre en charge mon\u00e9tairement une partie des effets positifs, au regard de leur champ de responsabilit\u00e9.
