BIMBY est une plateforme de m\u00e9diation entre propri\u00e9taires en centre urbain, autorit\u00e9s locales et petites entreprises du b\u00e2timent pour favoriser les processus de densification urbaine.
\nLe projet financ\u00e9 par l’Agence Nationale de la Recherche (France) part du constat que la possession de foncier en milieu urbain\/p\u00e9riurbain constitue un capital dormant que la densification de l’habitat permettrait de valoriser. Un processus de consultation citoyenne est mis en exp\u00e9rimentation dans plusieurs municipalit\u00e9s En particulier une consultation d’architecte est propos\u00e9e aux propri\u00e9taires pour visualiser la construction d’un logement suppl\u00e9mentaire sur leur terrain et estimer les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices qu’ils pourraient en tirer. 60% des participants se d\u00e9clarent favorables anim\u00e9s par un large panorama de motivations: constituer un revenu en location, financer les \u00e9tudes des enfants ou sa vieillesse, cr\u00e9er un local professionnel, loger ses enfants ou ses parents \u00e2g\u00e9s…<\/p>\n
