The Housing Department of the European Metropolis of Lille is undertaking a service design approach to both gain more insight into the profiles and expectations of low-income and middle-class households, and to develop support solutions for affordable home ownership. The public innovation lab\u00a0<em>Strategic Design Scenarios<\/em> in Brussels and its partner in Lille,\u00a0<em>Rives Nord,\u00a0<\/em>are organising a co-construction process with diverse stakeholders: professional private, public and associative; listening to households and collecting their stories; developing emerging ideas and experimenting them\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>User\u2019s experience at the service of users<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A wide range of products and services are being developed: families recounting\u00a0<em>Remarkable purchasing journeys<\/em> through video micro-reports and showing future owners how purchasing housing has changed: new ways of living, profiles of atypical households and new accession products. A\u00a0<em>Map of Uses<\/em> groups user\u2019s best tips and experiences collected during the study in order to facilitate the identification of available stakeholders, help approaching banks or brokers and avoid making the same mistakes again.\u00a0<em>Housing patience<\/em>, is a card game helping to prepare for the journey and\u00a0<em>Projection Game of Property<\/em> allows to assess the appropriateness of a chosen housing in regard to the different life events to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tools have been tested mainly at ADIL, the Departmental Agency for Information on Housing in Nord and Pas-de-Calais, and the prototypes are still being used to support households that are looking to buy new housing\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Project holders : M\u00e9tropole Europ\u00e9enne de Lille<\/li><li>Designers : Strategic Design Scenarios, Rives Nord<\/li><li>Stakeholders :&nbsp;Association D\u00e9partementale d\u2019Information sur le Logement Nord-Pas-De-Calais,&nbsp;F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Promoteurs Immobiliers Hauts de France, Centre \u00c9tudes de la Conjoncture Immobili\u00e8re,&nbsp;Union R\u00e9gionale pour l\u2019Habitat Hauts de France, Action Logement,&nbsp;Procivis,&nbsp;Vilogia Premium,&nbsp;Ville de Lille,&nbsp;Notre Logis,&nbsp;Partenord Habitat,&nbsp;Escaut habitat,&nbsp;BPCE,&nbsp;POP Immobilier&nbsp;<\/li><li>Photo credits: Strategic Design Scenarios<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POC MEL Accession abordable Housing patience and affordable purchasing map Whom do I contact if I want to buy a home?
