DISCUSSING WITH CHRISTIAN JONET CEINTURE ALIMENT-TERRE LIÉGIOISE / ENSAV LA CAMBRE
After launching the project of « Food Campus St- Gilles ” we had the opportunity to meet Christian Jonet , one of the organizers of Ceinture Aliment-Terre in Lièges and coordinator within the NPO Barricade. Christian showed us the different actors of the CATL through several projects around sustainable food issues in Liège.
Through this presentation , we found the main axes of CATL’s prospects:
– Promoting access for all to sustainable food .
– Provide local and autonomous food production
– Think models agriculture respectful of the environment and health .
– Creating jobs in this sector.
– Strengthen the interaction between urban and rural areas .
Then, each group proposed their first ideas related to nutrition of students and residents from Saint -Gilles district in Liege as keywords and scenarios. This first approach has allowed everyone to steer the project to a specific topic , thanks to exchanges with the whole group. Christian finally led us to groups of CATL’s actors, so that we can meet and analyze their approaches. Each group will go to meet the stakeholders to conceptualize their project.
