On 24 March we had a speed-presentation (Pecha-kucha) test run to find out what format would make most sense to use for our presentations on 20 April, the first day of the OnSite#1 session 20-21 April.

First, Tine, me, Francois and Cristophe each presented some 10-20 slides on different topics, developments, changes and future trends that we thought was surprising/interesting/important.

After this, an engaging discussion led to an agreement on the format to be used for each speed-presentation:

–10 slides in total;

– each slide will be presented for 20-40 seconds, as appropriate;

– for a total of 7 minutes.

During 20 April, 5 speed-presentation sessions will be held, and each will consist of:

– 3 speed-presentations x 7 min = 20 min;

– clustering on posters 20 min.

On the 16th of April there will be a drop in session in the lab from 14-18 where you can come to discuss your presentation and any questions you may have with us. In this way you can make any final changes before noon on the 17th of April, when we need your presentation at the latest.
