The Local Support Group program met the 11th October 2013 in the Great Hall of City Hall in order to discuss the Local Action Plan for the development of integrated and participatory approaches to nutrition policy of the municipality of Athens, through contact partners and exchange experiences.

The three topics discussed and are subject to the Local Support Group are to: A. The theme of Culture (Growing) that explores all possible ways to grow food near or even within the city. B. Thematic Distribution (Delivering) that explores ways for distribution, sale and supply of local food in the city. C. The theme of Nutrition (Enjoying) that examines how people in the city can embrace a sustainable, healthy and vibrant culture of food in school canteens and households.
